Day 2: 7 Days of Pink, Orange, and Yellow

Hello! Today I have the second installment of my Pink, Orange, and Yellow endeavor! I'm absolutely loving how these turned out!

I mixed one of my favorite techniques (watercolor) with some funky zigzags. Check it out!

These were all done with a very small brush! The watercolor effect can be achieved by dabbing VERY diluted polish (with acetone) onto your nail. NOTE: Be sure to put a blob of polish on tin foil or palette when mixing with acetone so that you don't ruin your bottle of nail polish.

I think I can direct traffic with how bright these nails turned out! :D

Stick around for day 3!

 Enjoy!

I'm back!!!! 7 Days of Pink, Orange, and Yellow

Hello my lovely readers! It's been a whirlwind of a couple of weeks. I made it to Scottsdale safely (driving from Washington to Arizona is a looooong and boring drive, let me tell you). Anyway, I am trying to settle in by adjusting to the heat (it's 96 right now at 7:08 p.m.), job hunting, and catching up on my nail art endeavors.

I'm so sorry that I was so sporadic in my posts, but with my final semester in college, my graduation, and the move…things were bound to get a little hectic. I want to thank you all for sticking around. I hope to get this blog on a roll again now that I will have more time (and hopefully a regular schedule once I find a job).

To kick off my return to blogging, I am doing "7 Days of Pink, Orange, and Yellow" manicures! Let's get started with the first day!

Tropical Look

I wanted something floral and happy, so I did a dark and light pink gradient, then randomly placed orange flowers on my nails. I used a thin brush and some thinned out yellow to outline the flowers.

As you can see, I have quite the tan on my hands! This happened during the drive to AZ! :)

Overall, it was a quick and messy manicure, but I really enjoyed the cute flowers and the vibrance of the colors!

Stick around for day two!

 Enjoy!

Purple Dots with Glitter - Manicure

Hello!
I have a lovely purple manicure to show you today! I absolutely love the base color I used because it is a BRIGHT and gorgeous lavender.

If you follow me on Facebook and Twitter, you already know that I broke my index nail below the quick, and as a result had to file all of my nails down. :/ My finger still hurts from the tear/break.

Here we go!

Polishes used:
Base - Tardy Tart by Sation/Miss Professional
Dark Purple - Miss Emo Shun All by Sation/Miss Prfessional
Light Purple - Marley by Zoya
Glitter - Daddy's Little Girl by Girly Bits

Water Marble Nails

Hello lovelies! I have a cold and have been on the couch for the past two days when not at school. I decided to attempt water marbling again! I am pleased with how these turned out. <3

I know this month is Autism awareness month; blue is the color associated with the movement for education about the lifestyle that these people live. <3 Please educate yourselves on what it means to have Autism.

I went with China Glaze White on White, Re-Fresh Mint and Shower Together.

I added some dots with Shower Together. As you can see, I missed some cleanup on my thumb. =/

Enjoy!
